Have you ever noticed that every good, sturdy and successful movement have started with one person?
At the volleyball game the other day, I noticed something remarkable. There was a woman who started clapping and then everyone chimed in. It shows me that it only takes one. You do have to have a cowed of people to start a movement it only takes one person to step up to lead them.
Has God been calling you to lead?
Are you worried that you will not know what to do?
Why? Why now? Why not someone else?
God did NOT give you a spirit of fear, He gave you His spirit. He did not give you a spirit of worry, because that's not what He intended for your life!
Be the Leader God has called you to, even if it is leading yourself in making a decision to leading a youth group. Anything God is calling you to lead, do not doubt yourself, that won't get you anywhere. I once heard, "Worrying is like sitting in a rocking chair, it give you something to do but gets you nowhere."
He has called you to something so much greater than what you are settling for right now.
Be that leader you needed when you were younger,.
Be that person that people come to for help.
Be the person who reflects and leads like Jesus.
You can do this. You will succeed. You are going to do amazing.
Trust the one who created you because he's already did an amazing job so far.
Today I challenge you, lead something that God has called you too, take that step that you have been scared to take in Jesus' name.
Remember you could be that one to start a Jesus movement but, you have to take that first step toward God and the last step away from the world.
