Servant's Heart

How do we act as a servant? How do we imply that to our lives?

Moses

King David

Paul

James

Lydia

John

Matthew

Mark

Ruth

Mary

Noah

This is just some of the servants in the Bible, the people who listened to what God had them do to fulfill His plan. All of these people had a heart for the Lord whether they died for it or not they in their time living, shown the knowledge that they are willing to do whatever it takes for the Lord. Even if that meant sacrificing their lives.

Unimaginable huh?

One killed a man who was beating a Jew, he grew up as a son of Pharaoh's daughter.

One who had an affair with a woman whose husband was fighting for him.

One was a hardcore Jew who dedicated his life to killing Christians before he met Jesus.

One was the half brother of Jesus who didn't believe he was the son of God until he ascended.

One had her whole house baptized and then invited the disciples to stat at her home.

Some left everything behind to follow a person who helped them catch fish.

One left everything she knew to stay with her mother-in-law after he husband had died.

One was the mother of Jesus.

One built a boat without ever seeing rain until it began to pour.

All of these people and so many more prove that you don't have to have a perfect life to be used by Jesus, to be used as a vessel, to spread his word. To be a Servant after His own heart. Look deep within yourself, there you will find your servants heart.

Repeat this after me: I am a servant of a mountain moving, ocean walking, miracle working God and he will not fail me!
